GUIDE / BLUEPRINTS

Load a sequence of buildings

Load several .frag buildings one after another, keep their model IDs, and process each one as its async request completes. This pattern is useful for campuses, city blocks, phased developments, and any experience that streams more than one building into the same level.

Blueprint flow

The graph below shows the sequence pattern: iterate over the building paths, start an async load for each path, check the completion result, then process the loaded model with its returned model ID.

Blueprint graph / load and process a sequence of buildings

Build the sequence

  1. Keep your .frag paths in an array, data table, or other project configuration.
  2. Loop through the paths and call Load Fragment Async for each entry.
  3. In On Complete, branch on Success before using the returned Model Guid.
  4. Pass the Model Guid to Process Loaded Fragment and store the ID with the building name or index.
  5. Add a small delay or a queue when loading many buildings at once so the editor or runtime stays responsive.
  6. Call Unload Fragment for buildings that leave the active area.

Keep track of loaded buildings

Store each returned Model Guid in a map keyed by the building ID. That gives the rest of your Blueprint graph a stable way to query, select, hide, or unload one building without repeating the import step.

The individual nodes are documented in the Blueprint examples and API reference.
